I was recently asked about the manual toothbrushes that we purchase and give to our patients as a courtesy. As some of you know we switched a few years back to one that is made by Colgate as we found the ends of the bristles to have slight, thin, miniature extensions on them, thus allowing them to be extra soft as well as penetrating the gums and crevices of our teeth more efficiently. I know we have discussed toothbrushes previously in our articles on 8/12/24 and 1/13/25 but I thought this might be a question that others have had as well. To the right is a close-up photo of the bristles which I was describing.
